Shiseido Eyebrow Styling Compact

I love full brows and the new Shiseido Eyebrow compact in Medium Brown is my new favorite brow product! This powder dup contains 2 shades – a chocolate brown and a darker, greyish brown. I find the latter blends in really well with my naturally dark brow hair. The powders are sheer and buildable which is just how brow powders need to be. The texture is smooth but not too soft and the staying power is excellent. Love it!

NYX Powder Blush : Pinched

I recently picked it up from cherryculture and its such a lovely color, I’ve been wearing this almost everyday for the past week! Its a peachy pink shade containing gold micro shimmer that adds a very healthy color and glow to the face. You can see the swatch HERE. I’ve worn it HERE and used it in THIS tutorial.

Video Tutorial : Peach + Bronze Makeup

Hey everyone!

After a bit of break from Youtube, I’m back to making video tutorials again! Many of you had liked my last FOTD, here’s the tutorial for the look. I’ve changed up the products a little bit but the basic look remains the same – quick bronzy brown smokey eyes, bronzed peachy cheeks with glossy peach lips. I think this is a really flattering look for warm toned gals, do try it out and let me know what you think!

Sample Reviews : Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Shampoo + Mask

Hi everyone!

Today I’m doing a quick review of the Rene Furterer Karite Intense products I received in the January Edition of My Envy Box. The box contained 15 ml samples of the shampoo and mask each. While the shampoo lasted me 2 washes, the mask is good for at least 2 more washes.

The first thing I noticed about both the products was the amazing fragrance – they smell very natural, relaxing and luxurious. Its like a hair spa in a tube! (The aroma is supposed to be Orange, Verbena, Orange blossom, Vanilla). The Shampoo has a runny gel texture, didn’t lather heavily and felt a little mild on the hair. I had to use quite a bit of product and that wasn’t even on oiled hair so that’s a con right there. Once rinsed out, my hair did feel fairly clean and smooth. After squeezing out the water, I applied the Mask just as you would use a conditioner. Even though both products are meant for dry, damaged hair, neither is very thick or heavy in texture. I kept the mask for about 5 minutes after which I rinsed it out with water, I like that it wasn’t difficult to wash off. My hair did feel quite smooth and silky at this point.
