My take on the Product

The Body Sorbet by The Body Shop comes in a squeeze tube packaging with a flip open cap. The packaging has the Strawberry range logo which along with the pink tinted sorbet makes an attractive product! The sorbet is a basically a thick gel-lotion that feels fresh and cool on the skin. It absorbs completely into the skin upon massage and doesn’t leave any greasiness behind. The texture and consistency is perfect for summer or humid climate because it is really light and refreshing.

But on the other hand, it doesn’t really add much moisture to the skin so dry skinned ladies should opt for the body lotion or body butter instead. I personally don’t mind that aspect much as I don’t have dryness on my body. What I love the most about the product is definitely the delicious strawberry scent. It smells fresh, juicy and sweet – just like mouthwatering fresh strawberries! The smell is not too strong and lingers for an hour or so on the skin. I like that its not too strong so it doesn’t interfere with your perfume. The Body Shop Strawberry range is one of my all time favorites and I would recommend this to all fans of the TBS Strawberry line!

Overall, definitely a nice summer product that feels refreshing, fragrant and  light on the skin! Would have been perfect if it had been a little more hydrating!

  1. last weekend I visited TBS because I was in search of Facial Milk cleanser .. Well I am a FE loyal customer but they said their FE soya milk protein cleanser has discontinued & during winters I prefer foamless facial cleanser… I was really upset so I entered TBS to find a milk cleanser but their cleanser contains PARABENS so I was looking around for smthng & I saw these Body Sorbets.. & tested that on my hand & I didn't found it sufficient moisturizing for my dry skin so I ignored this..

Well I trust ur reviews … thanks for ur review… I was right less moisturizing for dry skin,,,

  3. I completely agree I’d have loved it to be more moisturising but its great for insanely hot weather! I have the one in Satsuma and its zesty and citrusy and lovely!

  4. Have you tried the TBS Strawberry Eau De Toilette? Coz If you love this scent so much it is the one thing that cant be missed. true, its smells of strawberries but there's a very spring-summery hint to the scent which lingers. its has become my staple perfume. it is without a doubt the one thing that i would repurchase from this range for sure.

  5. I have tried the body shop sorbets and they do seem very light and not that moisturising. I prefer the mango and moringa fragrances.
