Chambor recently launched the Extreme Matte Long wear Lipcolor and I have been testing out 2 shades from the range – 04 Aztec Brick and 07 Exotic Fuchsia. Here are my thoughts on the formula.
Price : Rs 795 for 2.8 g
My take on the Product
The product is a lip crayon housed in a colorful plastic packaging. I love colored makeup crayons, the shades are easy to locate and the packaging looks fun. I wish these were twist up instead of sharpening ones, would have saved a lot of product wastage during sharpening. These are creamy, smooth matte finish lip colors that have excellent color pay off. The formula is non-drying and doesn’t tug during application. But since the finish is very matte, they may emphasize lines and flaky bits. The texture varied between the 2 shades a bit. Exotic Fuchsia was much creamier and smoother than Aztec Brick and looked a little more flattering on the lips. Both are long wearing, transfer very little and don’t wear off with meals. Aztec Brick did get patchy and uneven after a couple of hours though. Overall, these are nice options for matte lip lovers though the formula is prone to unevenness as the color wears off.
04 Aztec Brick is a muted brick red with gold pearl. The color is quite pretty and great for all skin tones. It could be a great color for the festive season. But I don’t personally like the shimmer with the matte finish. I prefer wearing this with a little balm or gloss on top. Rating : 3.75/5
07 Exotic Fuchsia is a cool toned fuchsia – very bold and punchy color, I love it! The texture of this was much better than Aztec Brick, I really like this one! Rating : 4/5
