My take on the Product

The Faces CC cream comes in a black plastic tube packaging with a screw on cap. The texture and consistency of the cream is liquidy and sheer. The thin consistency makes it very easy to spread and blend onto the skin. The cream has sheer coverage, it doesn’t cover much but gives a thin veil of color. It doesn’t quite cover my under eye pigmentation and blemish marks but does even out the overall tone. Its neither too dewy nor matte, it has a soft satin finish with a hint of healthy sheen. It gives a natural radiant look to the skin. It feels moisturizing but doesn’t make my skin greasy, doesn’t sit into pores and doesn’t go patchy in areas of dryness and blemishes. Even without a powder on top, this wore really well on my skin for over 7 hours. I can see this working well for all skin types. Since its light in texture and has a satiny finish, it can be worn under foundation as well (but as a substitute for moisturizer).

Overall I’m quite impressed with this and I can see myself wearing this for daily wear. It also contains SPF 20 making it great for day wear. With its anti-aging claims, I was expecting it to be very emollient and heavy for my combination/oily skin but I was surprised by how light weight it was and how well it suited my skin. The tint in the cream is very natural looking and has enough warm tones to not look ashy on the Indian skin. I do wish they had more shades to cover a wider range of complexions.

Do note that this contains alcohol, silicones and salicylic acid so if you are sensitive to either of these, you could skip this. As for its anti-aging claims, I see Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid listed in the ingredients so it might have some benefit but I don’t think this is a substitute for a dedicated skincare product. Nevertheless, I do recommend this to ladies looking for a natural, light weight tinted cream for daily wear!

  3. Thanks for the review very useful…. I liked the product but some chemicals are restricting me to hv this… Scared of these chemicals

  4. Ii ankita… nice review as usual. I'm in search of a good bb/ cc cream. Can u suggest which is better…colorbar or this one? Will wait for ur reply before buying. Tia.

  5. I have a doubt…plz help me out. Is it really necessary to apply toner before night cream ? What toner would you suggest for oily skin ? After following your blog, I came to know about ZA product and later bought ZA true white foaming face wash. It's wonderful for me ! Need help from you regarding toner.

  6. Hi…Great review as usual! Can you tell which CC/BB cream would be better for oily skin….Faces or Bourjois?? Presently I m using Maybelline BB stick.

  7. would you say this is better than the Lakme CC cream? 🙂 that’s what i’m using at present.. its a bit difficult to blend

  8. I bought this a couple of months back. While the cc cream itself is very light weight and easy to use the product smells strongly of something similar to camphor. It has a tingling sensation for the first few minutes after application similar to what you would experience in some face packs.Did you have notice some burning sensation for the few minutes after application as well? Or am i the only one? I stopped using it fearing some kind of allergic reaction.Although i never had any skin issues, redness or itchiness after application but i thought it would be safe to stop using it.
