Chambor Happy Hues Coral Islands Blush – Review
The blush comes in a limited edition casing with a teal lid. The casing is encased in a pretty cardboard box with an ocean inspired print. The packaging feels very light but not flimsy. The blush is housed in a rectangular pan and comes with a small brush which is frankly too small and scratchy to be usable.
The blush has a fine, smooth texture but isn’t too powdery. Its on the sheerer side so it shows up really subtle on the skin unless you build it up. It blends well and has a silky matte finish. The formula is easy to work with and you don’t have to worry about going overboard with this. The staying power is about 5 hours on my skin – not spectacular but not bad either. Its not the most long wearing formula so using a primer under foundation helps in extending the wear a bit. The only thing I disliked about the formula was the artificial scent.
Coral Islands is an earth toned blush with an orange undertone. The color is very warm and the coral-orange tones are quite flattering on my warm toned complexions. The color goes very well with gold, copper, bronze toned eye shadows and warmer lipsticks like terracotta nudes, peaches, oranges, brick and copper colors. If you tend to wear more of warmer colors, I’ll recommend trying out this blush!
