Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette Swatches

Hi everyone! Maybelline India has just launched the Blushed Nudes palette, priced at Rs 899. The palette contains 12 cool toned, rosy hues ranging from soft highlighter-like shades to deeper grays. Overall, the color palette is on the lighter side and a lot of these color would look very similar on the skin but I do like the inclusion of the 2 deeper purple toned shades. If you’re thinking of picking up this palette, have a look at the swatches below.

In terms of texture, the shades are reasonably smooth and have medium color pay-off. The last 3 shades in the bottom row have the best texture and pigmentation while the others need to be layered quite a bit for the colors to show. I’m personally not really floored by this palette because I feel both the eye shadow quality and color combination could have been better. But nonetheless, the price point is quite affordable for a 12-eye shadow palette. If these cool toned shades catch your fancy, you could pick this up online at or in stores from Maybelline counters.

  1. Great pictures Ankita! Coming to the palette, I would say that the last row did catch my attention in terms of colors but overall i do not find the palette flattering or must have.
“The Nudes” is still better to pick for any everyday sort of palette 🙂

  2. This palette is not made for medium skintones like ours I guess. Some of the shades are gorgeous in the second row but I think the shades in the first row will look alike on the eyelids! It looks beautiful though 🙂

  3. Most of the shades are same…I am not very impressed by it..I saw a grafitti nudes pallete on Instagram..I wish it is launched in India for it has better shade.

  4. i love the packaging, it ties in so nicely with the name. i really like the look of the three smokey grey shades x

  5. The shades are really nice but they are not very pigmented.Your swatches look nice but when I swatched it in the store it was not the same.

  6. You’re right, the upper row has shades that’ll look almost alike on the eyelids! I feel rose-gold palettes are mostly a gamble, considering our warmer array of skin tones.

Also, a lot of the shades look similar to Makeup Revolution’s Iconic 3 palette which has much better pigmentation. Can you do a comparison Ankita? Please 🙂

  7. The top row shades are quite similar to each other.. Personally I am not very impressed by this palette… Will skip this one.

  8. This palette looks very beautiful! I don’t think that I’ll buy it because most of these shades won’t even show up on my eyelids. Maybelline should launch more of their palettes now. 🙂

  9. Beautiful shades but I almost have all these colors so I will skip this. Ankita I am searching for a good matte colored eyeshadow palette(with blue, green etc). Any suggestions for that ?

  10. These cool toned colors are pretty, but the palette itself isn’t very unique. I also agree that this might be better suited for those with a lighter complexion.

  11. Hi ankita.i love watching your videos so much. They’re so from trivandrum & have a warm skintone.but when it comes to my eyes ,i have huge really really dark under eye circles which are kinda genetic so i can’t really change them & i don’t use concealer every single day as i go to under eye area as well as the upper inner corner of my eyes below the creases are in fact much much darker that the rest of face & body which is kinda i was just wondering if you knew some affordable but good eye shadow palettes that DOESNT have any warm neutral or nude colours but focusses more on the brighter side, like the reds or the purples, blues etc.i recently bought the bronze kyshadow palette.the burgundy one came out when i just received it & i thought i made a big mistake coz i don’t exactly like the colours on the bronze one.the thing is there really is no point in me wearing bronzy colours when i have very dark eye please do me a favour & please suggest to me some very good palettes that have eye popping bright colours & not even one warm color.even if its slightly high end i don’t mind:)

    1. Hi Sithara, I think the UD Electric palette would be perfect for you –

  12. BEAUTIFUL pictures! I always passed by these palettes in-store, because of reading reviews where one variation of this yielded so little pigment (I think it was the Smokes?). However, now I know that not all of these are created equal! This palette looks beautiful! A couple look same-ish, but for a $10 palette, not too bad on the color range! Great review!
