NEW Forest Essentials Silken Soaps!

Hi everyone! Forest Essentials has just launched a range of new soaps and today I’ll be sharing with you the details of this new launch. Like everything else the brand creates, these look beautiful, smell lovely and are created using a curing process of 12 weeks to give them a luxurious feel and texture. The making of the soap incorporates unique processes including a ghee wash and a pure silk infusion. 100% Natural silk is dissolved into the soaps to give them a silken texture & consistency. Pure natural spring water, herbal infusions and essential oils are also added to further enrich the concoction.

The soaps are individually packed in beautiful cardboard boxes with the ingredient list inside the box. These are priced at Rs 750 each. Let’s have a closer look at the 4 variants.

L’Occitane Rose Originelle Shower Gel, Body Lotion, EDT – Review

Hi everyone! Now that we’ve said goodbye to the winters, I’m bringing back fresh spring florals into my bath and body routine. L’Occitane recently launched their Rose Originelle collection which consists of a shower gel, a body lotion, a hand cream and an EDT. Today I will be reviewing a few of the products from this lovely floral collection. I love rose scents in my beauty products and L’Occitane always does fragrances very well so I was looking forward to trying this out.

L’Occitane Rose Originelle Shower Gel (Rs 1510, 250 ml)

The shower gel comes in a beautiful packaging. The bottle, with its golden cap and honey colored shower gel, looks decadent and charming. The gel itself has a slightly runny consistency, lathers well without foaming too much and doesn’t strip the skin dry. I love the rose scent which is delicately balanced with a soft fruity note, making this a feminine and refreshing shower wash. The scent is not overpowering and doesn’t linger much after rinsing. If you like roses or florals in general, you would definitely like this!

This range contains extracts from three varieties of roses –

  • Rose absolute from Turkey
  • Rose from Grasse (Rosa Centifolia Extract)
  • Rose centifolia absolute from Grasse

Its also free from the following – BHA, BHT, formol or formaldehyde, parabens, phenoxyethanol, phtalates, silicone & triclosan.

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer – Deep Restore | Review

Hi everyone! Today I’m reviewing the new Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer which I bought from Nykaa a few weeks back during their sale. Vaseline is a brand that is very nostalgic for me as I remember going through many bottles of their body lotions back when I was in college. In recent years, I have been more drawn to brands like The Body Shop and Forest Essentials for body care products but when I saw the new Vaseline spray moisturizers, I had to give it a try! I hadn’t loved their cocoa body lotion previously (very thick, didn’t love the smell), I decided to try the classic Deep Restore version of the spray moisturizer.

Price : Rs 310 | Buy online at or

Also available in Cocoa Radiant variant.

Clarins Skin Spa | Body Treatment Experience

Hi everyone! A few days back, I headed to the Clarins Skin Spa at Kemps Corner to try out one of their body treatments. You might recall my review of one of their facial treatments from a few months back. Today I’m sharing my experience with the Tri-Active Lift Sculptor Body Treatment.

The Tri-Active Treatment menu has 4 treatments to offer. The treatments are quite targeted and address different problems such as dryness, roughness, loss of elasticity and fluid retention. I chose the Lift Sculptor treatment that targets excess fluid in the tissues and promises a firmer silhouette with a feeling of lightness. Because of hormonal fluctuations, I tend to get a lot of fluid retention which gives a heavy, bloated and sometimes sore feeling in the tissues. So this treatment sounded like the perfect fit for me.
