Chambor Gel Effect Nail Lacquer 301, 652

Hi everyone! Chambor has recently introduced the Gel Effect Nail Lacquers in over 50 shades. Today I’ll be reviewing two of the shades from the range, a nude shade (301) and a metallic champagne color (652). These are priced at Rs 325 each and are supposed to give a high-shine, plumped finish of a gel manicure.

Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick 482 : Swatch, Review

Hi everyone! Liquid matte lipsticks are all the rage these days and if you’re looking for a throwback, 90s brown lip color, the Chambor Extreme Wear Transferproof Liquid Lipstick #482 is the ideal pick! The Chambor Liquid lipsticks are very creamy, highly pigmented and dry down to a matte finish. They are also extremely long wearing, wear fairly evenly though like all liquid matte lipsticks, can be a little drying over time.

Price : Rs 845 for 6 ml

Chambor Orosa Skin Fusion Foundation – Review

Price : Rs 1495 for 25 ml

Chambor launched a 4 piece capsule collection called Orosa a few months back and I just received the foundation, shadow stick and lipstick for review last week. The first product I dived into was the foundation which I had been very curious about. The packaging and look of the products is gorgeous and the rose gold metallic finish gives this collection a very luxurious, high end feel.

The foundation comes in a slim frosted glass bottle with a dropper mechanism. While this kind of packaging is being favoured by several high end brands for new age serum-like foundations, I found is to be slightly cumbersome as the dropper was very wobbly. Its quite possible that I had a defective piece. The foundation has a very thin, runny texture and it has a very smooth feel due to the high percentage of silicones in the formula. Its blends very easily into the skin on this account and settles down to a luminous matte finish and has a slightly powdery feel (doesn’t look powdery though) because of the presence of talc. Despite the matte finish, and the formula doesn’t catch on to any areas of dryness and gives a very natural, skin-like finish. I would still recommend prepping your skin well with moisturiser if you have dry skin because this is a matte foundation after all. The coverage is quite sheer – just enough to even things out a little but for areas of hyper pigmentation and spots etc, you would need to go in with a concealer. It is suitable for everyday wear and for people who prefer a light-medium coverage base.
